These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was one of the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.
Officers detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.
The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
